Man, Beerland has been killing it of late.

First, they announce all kinds of tremendous shows:

The Scientists Oct. 5 and 6!

Drunks with Guns on July 9!

The June 1  And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead show is early, which is pretty great given that most of their fans are in their 40s!

And now Beeland is getting into what annoying money types call “the cinema space” with the debut of Jukebox Cinema June 3rd.

Complete with new screen and projector, Beerland hosts a screening of selected works by animator Christy Karacas, the creator of the Adult Swim series “Ballmastrz: 9009” (which premiered in April) and “Superjail!.” The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Karacas.

Jukebox Cinema is hosted by filmmaker Matt Conboy (who also co-founded the late Brooklyn venue Death By Audio and made the feature-length documentary “Goodnight Brooklyn,” which premiered in competition at SXSW.)

The free event is open to those 18 and over.

Beerland is looking to make a habit of such screenings, probably on a monthly basis.
