Horne + Holt is the instrumental duo of experimental guitarist Jonathan Horne and classically-trained cellist Randall Holt. Both are members of Knest with drummer/percussionist Thor Harris and further developed their sound while he was away on tour. Looking to capture their early development, the resulting combination of composition and improvisation, Wires, is Horne + Holt’s debut collection of expressionistic soundscapes and emotive tone poems.
Randall Holt also released a solo album (2017/2018’s Inside The Kingdom of Splendor And Madness). Jonathan Horne is a member of other SSR bands, including Ichi Ni San Shi and The Young Mothers.
