OUT NOW: Little Mazarn – “Little Mazarn”
The self-titled debut album from dark folk balladeer Little Mazarn dropped on Friday, Dec. 15th! Taking the name from a river in Arkansas, sole constant member and creative force Lindsey Verrill began playing banjo in earnest in 2014 and writing songs about “pretty things, boring things, and the garbage that is humanity.” Much of these early feelings and experimentations have come to form the basis of Verrill’s work as Little Mazarn. The debut album is available from the Self Sabotage Records webstore in both vinyl and CD.

Formed in 1978, Terminal Mind were one of the early first-wave punk bands in Austin, Texas. Drawing influence from a wide range of sources, including Cleveland proto-punk band Pere Ubu and early English punk/post punk outfit Wire, Terminal Mind grew rapidly and influenced many bands after them in spite of their short tenure.
