Literally meaning 1-2-3-4 in the On reading of Japanese numerals, Ichi Ni San Shi is an Austin, TX based electronic/experimental band sounding, in some respects, like a mash-up of 70s electronic giants Kraftwerk and 80s electronic New Wave a la Gary Numan and company. Formed in 2009, the band consists of Bill Jeffrey (Manikin, Attic Ted, Night Viking, Stretford, Attack Formation), Sheila Scoville (No Mas Bodas), Amanda Jones, Marisa Pool (Suspirians), and Jonathan Horne. Their influences are numerous and cross multiple genres and styles of music, helping to create their unique and infectious sound. The band have released a handful of singles and albums since their formation and continue to record and play together between touring commitments each member has with their additional projects.
